Bayswater Waves Redevelopment

GFG Consulting led a comprehensive refurbishment of the iconic Bayswater Waves Aquatic Centre. The project encompassed detailed facility assessment, concept development, design, and construction supervision across multiple phases. The modernised facility is designed to meet community needs for the next 20 years, with the project tracking on time and budget.

Collie River Revitalisation Strategy
Shire of Collie
GFG Consulting assessed the implementation progress of previous river management recommendations and current river conditions. The project delivered an updated five-year management plan with specific maintenance and improvement schedules to guide the Shire's operations.
Woodlands Cultural, Community & Visitors Centre
Shire of Dundas
The team managed the refurbishment of Norseman's Woodland Cultural, Community and Visitors Centre, overseeing all aspects from preliminary planning to construction completion. The project involved close collaboration with architects, design consultants, Shire staff and community groups to ensure the facility met community expectations. The result is a high-quality community facility now serving local residents and visitors.


Point Walter Mountain Bike Trail
City of Melville
GFG Consulting provided superintendent services for the design and construction of the Dyoondalup Bike Park at Point Walter. The facility includes a pump track, learn-to-ride track, jump park, skills loop/gravity trails and trail heads, catering to all skill levels. The completed project has become a popular destination for the local mountain bike trail riding community.
Karrakatta Norfolk Chapel
Metropolitan Cemetery Board
GFG was engaged to project manage all aspects of the works required to restore the Karrakatta Norfolk Chapel and Lounge Complex to full operational service after it was damaged by fire. GFG supervised these rectification works, starting with initial clean up and demolition, then scoping and managing the tender process and construction stage through to final handover and practical completion.


Perenjori IGA Supermarket
Shire of Perenjori
Conception to Completion Project Management of the build of a new IGA shopping complex in Perenjori. GFG was engaged by the Shire to (PM/Superintend) oversee, project scoping, concept phase, contractor procurement, construction phase and final handover of a functional IGA Supermarket Facility to the operator. This project has successfully been managed and is due to hand-over at the end of February 2025.
Technical Services Review
City of Armadale
Our associates analysed the Technical Services Directorate's operating model, focusing on value proposition groupings and leadership alignment. The review included a detailed assessment of the Parks Department and consideration of aligned operational areas.


Mercury Treatment Facility
Our team successfully led the development of the Southern Hemisphere's first Mercury Treatment Facility in Gap Ridge, Karratha, tailored for the Oil and Gas Industry. This comprehensive project encompassed design consultation, tender processes for earthworks and civil construction, and full project management from start to finish. We are proud to report the facility was delivered on time, accompanied by a 12-month defects liability period for added assurance.

Delivered a high-level infrastructure services review for the City of Stirling, providing insight into current service performance and future needs. The work identified opportunities to improve efficiency, resilience, and long-term asset planning.

Delivered a comprehensive business case for the Shire of Mount Magnet’s caravan park redevelopment. This involved detailed analysis, financial modelling, and alignment with strategic and economic development objectives.
Grant Funding Submission Support
Shire of Dundas
Provided grant funding and business case support for the Shire of Dundas, strengthening the quality and competitiveness of their funding submissions and strategic project documentation. This included refining project narratives, aligning applications with funding program objectives and assessment criteria, and developing clear, evidence-based business case content.
Recent support has contributed to a range of successful and in-progress initiatives, including applications for the Animal Welfare Grant, Community Water Supplies Partnership Program, Strengthening Rural Communities Fund, Regional Housing Support Fund, and safety signage improvements for BEN. Each submission was underpinned by a strategic approach, ensuring projects were well-articulated, aligned to funding priorities, and positioned for strong assessment outcomes.
